    With the 2/1 Maki combo, not only does the 2k1 make it very easy for the first Maki to land her on-reverse, but it also maintains hand size as mentioned and that first reverse allows for the on reverse effect to occur… pay 1 draw 2, which makes that 6 hand very subsequently attainable. You could say that pay 1 draw 2 is fairly limited when you already have 6 cards on turn, but considering she comes out at 2, you can oversize your hand intentionally in order to drop climaxes at the end of your turn, potentially just before you refresh . Not to mention being able to pay out climax triggers at level 2 is always appreciated, especially if it may plus for you.
